On 13 July 2025, our founder and executive director, Ms Hellen Sisya had the honor of meeting and engaging with Malala Yousafzai, the globally renowned education activist, United Nations Messenger of Peace, and youngest Nobel Prize laureate.
She joined a group of inspiring young female leaders and advocates to discuss advancing girls’ right to education in Tanzania.
Malala was in Tanzania to engage with government leaders, education stakeholders, and local initiatives working to empower girls through education, arts, and sports.
This was a powerful opportunity to share ideas and strengthen efforts toward ensuring every girl in Tanzania has access to quality education.
